So, who are Invicta Bike Club?

Formed in 1998, we are group of like minded motorcyclists who share a passion for sports-bikes and beer, hence the emphasis on the social side of life as well. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at the Duke of Wellington, Ryarsh (see below) and once a month is the Club's Social Night. These are held at different venues and could be a pub, restaurant, a night at the dog races and during the summer, BBQ's.

We meet most Sunday's, and during the summer months, on a Thursday evening for rideouts.

Other events include trackdays and trips abroad... this year the club are going back to the Pyrenees, with other trips to France and as far as Essex also being considered! We also regularly attend trainging courses, such as the Biker Down! traing course, offered free by the Kent Fire & Rescue Service - while we hope it's never needed, it's better to be prepared.

So, interested in joining us? You'll be welcome at our monthly meeting or feel free to turn up at Wrotham on a Sunday and come for ride.

Yearly membership costs 15 for a single membership or 20 for a couple - for which you get: a monthly newsletter, monthly club meeting, organised trips in the UK & Europe and Club Affiliation with the BMF which entitles you to:- discounts at selected Motorcycle stores, National & Local club contacts, channel crossing savings, regional activities and more.

If you would like more details, or to arrange to meet us for a Sunday Ride, post a message on our forum, or Contact Us.

10/06/2016 Merlins and Motorbikes
At: Headcorn
The BMF, has joined forces with Aero Legends and WWII Headcorn Aerodrome to launch an exciting new weekend event, Merlins and Motorbikes.
Bike enthusiasts can expect an action packed experience at Merlins and Motorbikes, which is being held on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June 2016 at the Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent.
Those attending can expect to see bands and music, as well as more than 100 trade stalls which will sell everything from bike kit and helmets to clothing and sunglasses.
There will be an autojumble where visitors can browse for a bargain, and a traditional 'best in show' competition. There will be several exhibitions of bikes and aircraft for everyone to enjoy.
Taking centre stage at "Merlins and Motorbikes" will be an aerial display of two Spitfires from The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) and the 'Great British Bike Off', a 1,200-metre drag race between a motorbike and the Aero Legends Spitfire TD314.
Jim Freeman, Chairman of the BMF, said: "We're delighted to be working with Aero Legends and WWII Headcorn Aerodrome to launch this exciting debut event, which is set to attract thousands of visitors over the weekend. The mix of classic motorcycles and vintage aircraft, combined with numerous other attractions, makes this a special event in the calendar. What could be more evocative than the lazy, effortless, thunder of a Merlin engine Spitfire over Kent?"
